Lori Herr is a solo practitioner at the Heisler Law Office. Ms. Herr attended law school at Thomas M. Cooley law school where she was a member of the Dean’s List, Real Estate Society, and Women’s Law Alliance.
She practices in multiple areas of Family Law including: divorce, separation, child custody, child support, spousal support, domestic abuse, co-habitation agreements, and property rights. Ms. Herr is also certified as a general civil and domestic relations mediator; she believes in helping parties reach resolutions, saving each party time and expense.
Ms. Herr is an expert in the area of military family law. She takes pride in helping military servicemembers relating to the issues of divorce, child custody, child support, parenting time, spousal support, retirement divisions, separation agreement, reunifications, and post judgment modifications. She understands the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act, Tricare, and terms including BAH, LES, and BAS and how these forms of income interrelate to family support during a military separation or divorce.
Ms. Herr is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, Ingham County Bar Association, Eaton County Bar Association, American Bar Association, and she is currently the Vice-President of the Mid-Michigan Women’s Lawyers Association of Michigan.

Steven Dulan - Attorney - Criminal Law, Property Law, Firearm Law, and Bankruptcy
Steve Dulan got his first legal experience as a Corrections NCO for A Co. 1/5 Cav, 1CD at Fort Hood, TX while serving as a Bradley Gunner and Assistant Squad Leader. After ETS, he returned to Michigan State University, graduating in 1991 and then attending Cooley Law School on a full scholarship. If he ever runs into then-Captain Harrison, one of the First Cavalry Division JAG officers, he will thank her for suggesting law school to a young Infantry E-5.
Since graduating law school, Steve has served as an Adjunct Professor at Baker University, Cleary University, Lansing Community College, Adrian College, The Ohio State University, and Cooley Law School teaching a variety of courses including Legal Research, Legal Writing, Real Estate Law (coming from a Real Estate Family, Steve has had a Michigan Real Estate License since 1983), International Business Law, Legal Issues in National Security, Entertainment Law, Bankruptcy, and Gun Control Seminar. Mr. Dulan has had numerous professional publications and appearances at seminars and symposia as well as local and national media appearances.
From 2005-2010, Steve served as a civilian volunteer instructor of Squad Designated Marksmen supporting the Army Marksmanship Unit during one-week SDM courses at various CONUS locations. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Michigan Coalition for Responsible Gun Owners and previously served as a School Board member at Lansing Charter Academy. Mr. Dulan is a member of The American Legion, Mensa, The Federalist Society, and an Endowment Member of the National Rifle Association. He often teaches the legal portion of the Michigan Concealed Pistol License class and Continuing Education classes for Michigan Real Estate Licensees.
Mr. Dulan is a member of the State Bars of Michigan and Colorado and admitted to practice in all Federal Courts in Michigan as well as the 6th Circuit United States Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of the United States.
